YouTube Star who is a fish enthusiast named Nick Velayos with more than 450,000 subscribers. He specializes in keeping mantis shrimp and all types of fish, including fresh, brackish, and saltwater fish in his home aquariums. "SBF" stands for "Salty, Brackish, Fresh." 

Before fame

He went to Harvard-Westlake School. While attending UC Santa Barbara, he was a swimmer on the college swim team. Starting his YouTube channel in 2014 by posting videos of how certain fish and shrimp react to each other, his most popular video is called "Giant Mantis Shrimp vs. Pistol Shrimp" with 4 million views. 

Trivia

In 2022, he filed a small claims court case against YouTube in Los Angeles, California. The case was eventually dismissed. 

Family life

Growing up in California, he was always interested in the water and different types of fish. 

Associated with

Wayde King starred in the television show, "Tanked" where he built fish tanks for celebrities. Most of this YouTube Star's tanks aren't quite that large in scale.
