Indonesian singer and dancer, professionally known mononymously as "Carmen," who earned representation from SM Entertainment and achieved fame as the only Indonesian member of the K-pop girl group Hearts2Hearts, which made its debut in 2025 with the single, "The Chase." Her debut marked a historic milestone as the first Balinese Indonesian to join one of South Korea's "Big 3" labels. She also starred in S2cret Diary and Hearts Chase, both web series created by her group, Hearts2Hearts.

Before Fame

She was exposed to the arts from a young age, as her parents owned a cultural dance studio. She also excelled in singing, rap, piano, and athletics including the long jump while attending school at SMA Kristen Harapan Bali. She joined SM Entertainment as a trainee in 2022 after being inspired to audition when she won several local and international dance competitions in Bali and Korea.

She is a skilled piano player. She has also earned recognition for showcasing finger magic tricks on stage during performances. She became the fifth Indonesian woman to debut in K-pop after fellow performers including Secret Number's Dita Karang.

Family Life

She is the daughter and third-born child of famed singer Ayu Handayani and Putu Gede Suastika. Her siblings include an older brother named Putu Michelle Hitakarana, an older brother named Made Vincent Narayana, and a younger brother named Ketut Carlos. Her parents manage the Ayu Bali Suara dance troupe as well as a restaurant in her hometown of Bali.
