Athlete, model, Instagram star, and entrepreneur, best known as a professional volleyball player for Vero Volley Milano. She is part of Italy's national volleyball team and the recipient of several individual and championship awards. Her Instagram account, paolaegonu, where she shares pictures of practice, outings with teammates, and more, has 480,000 followers. 

Before Fame

Before being recognized the world over for her athletic talent, she began playing for Club Italia at the age of 15. She was first selected for the Italian National Team in 2015. 

Trivia

In 2019, she was awarded the prize for Woman of the Year by D La Repubblica delle donne. Besides her athletic career, she delved into voice acting by dubbing the character "Dreamerwind" for the Italian version of Disney's movie, Soul. 

Family Life

She was born in Cittadella, Veneto, Italy, to Nigerian parents Ambrose and Eunice, and has two sisters. In November 2023, she shared a picture of her and pro-volleyball player, boyfriend Leonardo Puliti.
