Most well known for originating the role of Chesney Karib on the original British television series Shameless. After the show's finale, he then joined the cast of Coronation Street as Zeedan Nazir. 

Before Fame

He made his screen debut in the 2006 film Mischief Night.

He has had guest roles on a number of popular shows including Waterloo Road, Young Dracula, and Doctors.

He has a brother named Adam.

He starred opposite Kelli Hollis in his debut in Mischief Night. She would then play his mother on Shameless.
