American rapper who began receiving major attention with the release of his mixtape Beautiful Pimp in 2013. He released his major label debut, Jerome Raheem Fortune, on Fool's Gold in 2016.
He began rapping in high school and was heavily influenced by DMX's Blood of My Blood, Flesh of My Flesh.
He began dabbling in electronic music with his 2014 EP Small World, which features production work from electronic producer Four Tet.
His full name is Jerome Fortune. He comes from a family of musicians, including saxophonist Cannonball Adderley and cornetist Nat Adderley.
His 2015 EP YEP was a collaborative EP with rapper OG Maco.
