Award-winning chef and restauranteur who rose to fame as one of the minds behind the pastry chain Ottolenghi. He also co-authored the cookbooks Jerusalem: A Cookbook and Ottolenghi: The Cookbook.
He moved to London in 1997 to begin working as a chef. He began his career running the kitchen at Baker & Spice.

He grew up in Jerusalem and later moved to Tel Aviv before finally ending up in London, England. He has one sister.
