Anglican bishop who was named the first female Archbishop of Canterbury to lead the Church of England in October 2025. She was ordained a priest in 2002 and began her ministry in the diocese of Southwark. Before fame
She was trained in clinical nursing at St Thomas' Hospital. In 1999 she became chief nursing officer and director of patient experience for the English National Health Service.
