Chef who was one of the three finalists on The Next Iron Chef in 2009. He opened El Colmado in 2013. Its a Spanish tapas and wine bar in New York's Hell's Kitchen.
He found acclaim in 2006 with the Spanish restaurant Boqueria in New York.
He opened his first solo restaurant Tertulia in Manhattan in 2011. It was a finalist for the James Beard Foundation Award for Best New Restaurant.
He married Lynn Juang.
He and Beau MacMillan both competed on The Next Iron Chef.
