Right-handed starting pitcher that was selected by the Arizona Diamondbacks with the 33rd overall pick in the 2020 Major League Draft. He was later acquired by the Cleveland Guardians via trade in December 2024. Prior to being drafted, he played college baseball at the University of Miami.

During his senior year at the Trinity Preparatory School, he was named an Under Armour All-American. At the time, he was originally drafted by the Baltimore Orioles but he eventually decided to go to college instead.
