Venezuelan journalist, political communicator, and politician known for her work with the United Socialist Party of Venezuela, for her service as a deputy in Venezuela's National Assembly, and for her leadership roles in government communications. She is also known online under the handle @taniapsuv where she shares political commentary, speeches, and party messaging with over 130,000 Instagram followers and over 80,000 TikTok followers.

Before fame

She began her professional career in journalism and media before entering politics. She worked as a journalist and editor within Venezuela's state-aligned media system and became editor-in-chief of the Venpress news agency. She was appointed Minister of Popular Power for Communication and Information in 2010. She was sworn in as a deputy to the National Assembly in February 2012. She became a member of the National Constituent Assembly in 2017. She served as First Vice President of the National Constituent Assembly from January 2018 until its dissolution in December 2020.

She openly identifies as a defender of Hugo Chávez's political legacy. She has been mentioned in international reporting related to Canadian sanctions imposed in 2018 against several Venezuelan officials connected to the Constituent Assembly. She was named rector of the Universidad Internacional de las Comunicaciones in March 2022.
