Trinidadian former artistic gymnast, coach, and entrepreneur known for becoming the first female gymnast from Trinidad and Tobago to qualify for the Olympic Games in 2016 and for being the first female gymnast to represent Trinidad and Tobago at the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships in 2011. She is also known for being the founder of the Thema Williams Athletic Academy.
Before Fame
She began her training at Tots & Tumblers Gymnastics Club at a very young age. She was nominated for the Sportswoman of the Year award when she was 10 years old, which made her the youngest nominee in the award's history at that time. She then represented Trinidad and Tobago at various international competitions including the Pan American Games and the World Artistic Gymnastics Championships. She trained for a couple of years in Michigan but declined a scholarship to do gymnastics for Michigan State University in 2013 to pursue an Olympic career.
Trivia
was the first gymnast from Trinidad and Tobago to compete a Tkatchev on the uneven bars internationally. She won a legal battle against the Trinidad and Tobago Gymnastics Federation in 2018 after being controversially withdrawn from the 2016 Olympic Test Event despite her qualification. She enjoys painting, photography, and fashion.

She was born and raised in Diego Martin, Trinidad and Tobago. Her mother is an educator, and her father is an entrepreneur. She has two siblings named Hakeem and Ruusha.
