Greek actor who portrayed Damien Karras's uncle in The Exorcist. He has appeared in numerous popular American television series, including Days of Our Lives, The A-Team, Night Court, and The Love Boat. By the time he arrived in the United States, he was already an acclaimed actor in his home country, where he won a Best Actor award for his performance in the 1962 film Poliorkia.
