He grew up with a love for adventurous but kid-friendly films. He worked as an art director and freelance illustrator in the 1990s. He joined the LEGO group in the early 2000s and began developing various LEGO sets and stories. By 2009 he started working on developing LEGO-based shows, the first being Ninjago which premiered in 2011.
