Former West Virginia Mountaineer that played college baseball at West Virginia University from 2020 until 2022. During that time span, he earned All-Big 12 honors three different times. He was eventually selected by the St. Louis Cardinals as a fifth rounder in the 2022 MLB Draft.

He is a graduate of McEachern High School. While there, he played baseball and basketball.
Trivia
As a young boy growing up, he was a huge fan of the Pittsburgh Pirates team. As he got older, he became a fan of the Atlanta Braves team. He stands five feet, 11 inches tall and weighs approximately 190 pounds. In nearly every-day playing time in 2025, Scott emerged as a premier defensive center fielder and a phenomenal base stealer, stealing 34 bases and being nominated for the NL Gold Glove for center field.
Family life
He grew up living with his family in Atlanta, Georgia. He is one of two siblings. Scott's parents, Victor and Mary, ran track. His father is a member of the Morris Brown College Hall of Fame.
