Wade Wilson

About

Football coach and former player who has served as the quarterbacks coach for the Chicago Bears and Dallas Cowboys. As a player, he was named to the 1988 Pro Bowl as the quarterback for the Minnesota Vikings and won Super Bowl XXX as a backup to Troy Aikman on the Dallas Cowboys.

Before Fame

He won a district championship as a quarterback and punter at Commerce High School. He later attended Texas A&M University-Commerce, then called East Texas State University.

Trivia

In September 2007, he was fined $100,000 and suspended for five games by the NFL for buying and using performance-enhancing drugs.

Family Life

He had children named Travis, Hayden, and twins: Coleton and Sophie.

He played under longtime Vikings head coach Bud Grant in Minnesota.
