Comedian, actor, and writer who is best known for his stand up routines and his work writing for the Daily Show from 2008 until 2012. He is also known as the star of the TBS original series People of Earth. 

Before Fame

He attended high school in Texas at Jesuit College Preparatory School of Dallas. He graduated from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill before moving to Los Angeles to pursue his career in comedy. 


In addition to his work as a comedian and writer, he also worked with rapper Slim Thug the music video Still a Boss. He also costarred in the 2008 drama Medicine for Melancholy directed by Oscar winning filmmaker Barry Jenkins

Family Life

He was born in New York on April 19, 1976. Cenac's father, Wyatt Cenac, Sr. was a New York City cab driver. Cenac moved with his mother and stepfather to Dallas, Texas where he was raised.
