Pop-punk band that met in high school and found acclaim with the 2005 track "I Write Sins Not Tragedies." They won Video of the Year at the 2006 MTV Music Video Awards for the song.
Trivia
Their debut album, A Fever You Can't Sweat Out, was released in 2005. Guitarist Ryan Ross left the band in 2009. They won Favorite Alternative Rock Artist at the 2018 AMAs. The band broke up on January 24, 2023.
