A single father raises his daughter after the untimely death of his wife, who passed away shortly after childbirth. The dramedy was directed by Paul Weitz from a screenplay penned by Weitz and Dana Stevens. It is based on a memoir titled Two Kisses for Maddy: A Memoir of Loss and Love.
