About
Coming-of-age drama film about a boy and his mother as they move to Washington State in the 1950s. Once settled the mother re-marries and the new stepfather begins to use violence to discipline his troubled stepson. The film was directed by Michael Caton-Jones.

Filming took place in Concrete, Washington. Some scenes were also shot in the La Sal Mountains in Utah. The film's main title song was performed by Frank Sinatra.
