Ömer Yurtseven

About

NBA center that was initially signed by the Oklahoma City Thunder as an undrafted free agent in the year 2020. He was later signed by the Miami Heat in May of 2021. He's also played for the Turkish-based club Fenerbahçe during his professional basketball career.

Before Fame

He initially began his college basketball career at North Carolina State University. He eventually transferred to Georgetown University in the year 2019.

Trivia

While playing for Fenerbahçe, he won a Turkish Super League Championship, as well as the Turkish Super Cup. In addition to basketball, he also loves to play chess. 

Family Life

Growing up, he lived with his parents and his siblings in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. Although he is a native of Uzbekistan, he is of Turkish descent.
