Before fame

He showed an interest in music from a very young age. He began singing as a child and participated in local youth festivals including one in 1993. He recorded his first album Goulou Imumti Tjini as a child in 1994. He gained major attention in 2004 with the hit song "Yali Nassini." He then appeared on Moroccan television in 1997 which helped him gain early national recognition. He released the album 100% Douzi in 2008 and began sharing music on YouTube in 2010. He followed this with Hayati in 2013 and My Life in 2018.

He appeared on the official song "Welcome to Morocco" for the 2022 FIFA Club World Cup alongside Redone and other Moroccan artists. He was named a Knight of the Order of Wissam Al Moukafâa Al Wataniya in 2016 and won awards such as Best Moroccan Act at the BAMA Awards 2017. He is multilingual and has performed in Arabic, French, and English.

He was born and raised in Oujda, Morocco. His brother Kader Douzi has played a key role in his success acting as a songwriter, mentor, and collaborator from the beginning of his career.
