Brazilian Catholic singer and songwriter known for her contemporary Christian worship music along with her hit songs such as "O Menor da Casa Sou Eu," "Humano Amor de Deus," "Abraço de Pai," "A Chave do Coração," "Lindo Céu," "Teu Milagre," "Tocar em Tuas Vestes" and "Obrigado Deus." She is also known for the albums Reencontro, Qual É a Chave?, Lindo Céu, Jardim Secreto, and Sagrado.

Before fame

She first performed publicly when she was around 7 years old singing during Mass at the Bom Jesus Chapel in her hometown. She became involved in church activities in 1982. Her first major break came in 1994 when she joined the Canção Nova Band and performed at large Catholic conferences, retreats, and worship events across Brazil. She officially launched her solo career in 1999 with the release of her debut solo album Reencontro.

Her 2018 album Sagrado received a Latin GRAMMY nomination for Best Christian Album in Portuguese. She has won Troféu Louvemos 12 times as of 2026 which is one of the highest recognitions in Brazilian Christian music.

Family life

Her full name is Adriana Paula de Almeida Arydes. She was born and raised in Cruzeiro, São Paulo, Brazil. Her parents are José de Arimatéia and Auxiliadora Maria who supported her early involvement in music and church activities. She is a mother to a son.

Associated with

She featured Walmir Alencar on her song "Abraço de Pai" as part of her first album Reencontro in 1999. She collaborated with Fábio José de Melo Silva on the song "Humano Amor de Deus" which was originally released in 2005.
