Nigerian politician best recognized for having served as the governor of Lagos State. He is also known for his work with the All Progressive Congress political party and for having worked as a financial consultant.
He attended the University of Lagos where he earned his bachelors and masters degree in Accounting. He started his work as an assistant treasurer for the Badagry local government in Lagos State in 1988. He then served as an accountant for Lagos State in 2006.
He is also known for being an active member of the Federal Government College Lagos, Warri Old Students Association.
He was born and raised in Epe, Lagos and has nine other siblings.
He was preceded by Babatunde Fashola as the Governor of Lagos State.
