Former NHL goaltender that played for the Boston Bruins, Toronto Maple Leafs, Colorado Avalanche, Vancouver Canucks and the Dallas Stars during his 11 year career. He was originally taken as a fifth round pick in the 1998 NHL Draft by the Boston Bruins. Just a few years later, he was given the Calder Memorial Trophy, which is awarded to the NHL Rookie of the Year.

He first began playing hockey as a kid with the Quinte Red Devils. As a teenager, he played in the Ontario Hockey League.
Trivia
In 2007, he tied a Toronto Maple Leafs single season franchise record with 37 wins as a goalkeeper. He is tied with former goalie Ed Belfour.
