Actress who rose to fame throughout the 1960's and 70's portraying roles such as Astrid Lemay in the film Puppet on a Chain and the Grand Duchess Olga Nikolaevna of Russia in the film Nicholas and Alexandra. After a 20-year hiatus, she returned to acting in 2012 and has since appeared in series such as Holby CityGhosts (UK)The Witcher, and Pennyworth.  

Before Fame

She studied and performed with the Corona Stage Academy in the early 1960's before making her professional acting debut in the series Dixon of Dock Green. 

Trivia

She is often referred to as "The Polish Audrey Hepburn." Some of her early television work includes shows like Z Cars, Armchair Theatre, Special Branch and Victorian Scandals. She has appeared in movies such as Amityville Playhouse, Don't Knock Twice and Howl, and shorts including Ruth, If You Can Dream It, 2036: Nexus Dawn and Mary.

Family Life

She married director Derek Lister in September 1977. Together, they have two daughters.
