Before Fame

He is known for his bizarre style of dancing and using maracas while he's doing it. He was recruited by Shaun Ryder in the 80s to be a part of his band, Happy Mondays. 

Trivia

He was also part of Shaun's next group, Black Grape in 1997. He appeared on Celebrity Big Brother in 2005 and was declared the winner, which helped him pay off his tax debt.

He is from Lancashire, England. His real name is Mark Berry. He grew up with a father who was a detective, but lives with his grandparents when he was 16-years-old.
