Jamaican reggae and dancehall singer, songwriter, and performer known for songs such as "Journeys," "What Have I Done to You," "Pearly Gate," "Nuh Compatible," "Infidelity," "Anointed," and "What I'm Gonna Do." He has released albums including Anointed, Be Yourself, Picture Perfect, Toxicity, and Apex.

Before fame

He began writing for and touring with Elephant Man around 2000. He released his breakout single "What I'm Gonna Do" in 2007.

Trivia

His song "All Out" performed by Elephant Man was used in a 2003 Puma commercial featuring a young Usain Bolt. He first fell in love with music when he was 12 years old and moved from Portland Parish to Kingston when he was 17 years old to pursue music more seriously.

Family life

He was born Roy Thompson in Portland, Jamaica. He collaborated with his daughter Layla-Rei on the 2026 single "Good Over Evil."
