Before Fame
He attended Evergreen State College in Olympia, Washington. He began a Disney studio internship soon after his studies were completed. He was later hired in the year 1994. He worked as an animator on films including Pocahontas, Mulan, Lilo & Stitch and Brother Bear prior to moving to the director's chair.
