Romanian stand-up comedian, actor, podcaster, and television personality known for helping popularize stand-up comedy in Romania, for his live comedy performances, and for appearing on television shows such as iUmor, Xtra Night Show, and Un Show Păcătos. He is also known for stand-up specials and projects including Stricăm o generație, Expus, and Bordea: Teoria conspirației along with sharing comedy content online on YouTube, Instagram, and TikTok.

Before fame

He attended Ștefan Luchian Art High School and studied painting before he decided to pursue acting. He eventually moved to Bucharest and enrolled at the film and theater school UNATC. He first appeared on television in 2006 as an actor in the Romanian comedy series Fete cu lipici. He began performing stand-up comedy in the late 2000s. His big break came in the early 2010s when he became a regular television personality on Un Show Păcătos and then joined Xtra Night Show. He launched the podcast Un Simplu Podcast cu Bordea și Cortea in 2018. His popularity further increased after he joined the judging panel of the show iUmor in 2022.

Trivia

He is known for releasing one of Romania's first stand-up comedy DVDs. He filmed his 2022 stand-up special "Expus" at The Comedy Store in London. He and fellow comedian Nelu Cortea won the reality competition America Express - Drumul Aurului in 2023.

Family life

He was born and raised in Botoșani, Romania. He had a difficult childhood and was mainly raised by his mother and grandmother. He married Livia Eftimie after the couple met in 2012. They had their civil wedding in 2014 and a religious ceremony in 2019 and eventually divorced in 2023.
