Danish guitarist, TikTok star, and YouTuber known for his fingerstyle cover and original guitar songs. MusicRadar.com named him an Acoustic Guitarist of the Year finalist in 2018, and his eponymousYouTube channel, Casper Esmann, has over 100,000 followers.

Before fame

He was introduced to the piano as a child by his mother. After several years of piano lessons he discovered Tommy Emmanuel when he was 14, which inspired him to start playing guitar. Because there were no teachers in Denmark who taught fingerstyle guitar then, he taught himself how to play by listening to CD's and watching live DVD's from Tommy Emmanuel.

Trivia

As one of Scandinavia's most popular fingerstyle guitarists around today, he has released 6 studio albums, and toured around the world, from the United States to Russia, China and Japan. In 2018, he became a finalist in the world renowned guitar competition by MusicRadar, Acoustic Guitarist Of The Year, where he performed his original song "D-Day" live at the Olympia in London. He released his 6th studio album "Quandary" in October 2020.

Family life

He was born in Slagelse, Denmark. He got engaged on July 17, 2024.
