Canadian contemporary R&B singer-songwriter. She released her debut album Alpha in July 2021. She has over 90,000 followers on Instagram and more than 40,000 subscribers on YouTube.

Before Fame

She learned piano and studied at Toronto's Royal Conservatory of Music before teaching herself production via GarageBand as a teenager. She moved to Halifax, Nova Scotia to study music, women's studies, and philosophy at the University of King's College. She secured an internship with the Toronto-based record label Arts & Crafts, which represents the likes of Feist and hip-hop/jazz ensemble BadBadNotGood.

Trivia

As she told The Toronto Star in 2021, it was the placement of her 2016 song "Work" in an Apple commercial that cemented music as her profession: "That sync put some money in my pocket and made it possible for me to quit my job and pursue music full time."

Family Life

She was born and raised in Toronto and grew up in a musical family. One of her grandfathers was a minister.
