Before Fame

She began her acting career when she was 8 in an episode of the Belgian television series Samson en Gert.  She attended the Lemmensinstituut in Leuven, and then the philosophy department of the University of Antwerp.

Trivia

Some of the movies she has done include Yummy, which is a Belgian comedy horror zombie. She is also the voice of Smurfette in the Belgian dubbed version of The Smurfs and The Smurfs 2. 

Family Life

Her parents are Karin Jacobs and Jan Cleymans. She has a brother named Jelle. She is married to Jo Mahieu, and they have two children, Jeanne and Romy.
