Sketch artist, illustrator, and conceptual artist who has worked for leading entertainment agencies like Blizzard, Riot Games, and B O N D. He has provided key art for major blockbuster films including Jurassic World, Justice League, Avengers: Endgame, Borderlands, and Joker.

Before Fame

His passion for storytelling was sparked at a young age. He earned his associate degree in computer animation from the DigiPen Institute of Technology in Redmond, WA. While attending, he discovered his love for concept art. He later went on to graduate with honors from the Art Center College of Design in Pasadena, CA, with a BFA degree in entertainment art and painting.

Trivia

In the year 2021, he published Daya - his first collection of sketches and artworks. He has illustrated for the Power Rangers franchise, and for popular games like League of Legends and Dungeons & Dragons. His original sketches and concept art have helped him amass a social media following of over 100,000 on his daniel_landerman Instagram account.

Family Life

He grew up on an agricultural farm in Northern California. His father was a wholistic dentist and farmer. His mother also farmed and practiced Ayurveda and Jyotish, also known as Vedic astrology. He has a brother.

Associated With

In a February of 2019 interview with VoyageLA, he stated that painter Alphonse Mucha had been one of his greatest influences throughout his career.
