Palestinian-American journalist, presenter, and producer for AJ+ media, where she hosts a variety of documentaries. She's well known for her reports on the Middle East including the Israeli-Palestinian conflict and Europe's refugee crisis. She also covers U.S. domestic topics like elections to the Flint water crisis.

Before Fame

She attended UC Berkeley for international development studies and Georgetown University for a master's degree in Arab studies.

Trivia

She is a co-writer of the book They Called Me A Lioness: A Palestinian Girl's Fight For Freedom. She can speak Arabic fluently.
