American swimmer who won an Olympic gold medal in the 4x200 meter freestyle in 2000. In 2002, she dominated the Pan Pacific Swimming Championships, winning four gold medals.
She was born in Cleveland, Ohio and won her first international medals at the 1997 Pan Pacific Swimming Championships.
