Veteran southpaw that played for the New York Yankees, Minnesota Twins and Detroit Tigers during his MLB career. He has also pitched professionally in Japan and South Korea. While playing for the LG Twins of the KBO League he struck out 157 batters. 

Before Fame

During his first year at Central Michigan University, he was named the MAC Conference Freshman of the Year. As a freshman, he finished with the fifth best earned run average in the entire NCAA. 

Trivia

While playing with the Saitama Seibu Lions in 2021, he became the first American-born baseball player to record 10 wins in the Nippon Professional Baseball League since the 1950's. In fact, he's only the third ever non-Japanese born player to win 10 games in the NPB. 

Family Life

He lives along with his wife, Julie Anne, and their family. They got married in 2019.
