Iranian American DJ, music producer, label founder, and social media personality known first for being one half of the Grammy-winning electronic music duo Deep Dish with Sharam Tayebi before launching a solo career where he is known for tracks and remixes including "Roadkill," "RibCage," "Emissions," "I Feel Speed," "Exit," and his remix of Plastikman's "Spastik." He is also known for being the founder of the label SCI+TEC Digital Audio.

Before fame

He was introduced to Sharam Tayebi through a childhood friend in 1990 and they formed the DJ and production duo Deep Dish soon after. He began pursuing a solo career in the mid-2000s and released his first solo single "I Feel Speed" in 2007. He founded SCI+TEC Digital Audio also in 2007 and launched his HYBRID live show in 2015.

Trivia

He as part of Deep Dish won a Grammy Award in 2002 for their remix of Dido's Thank You." His life and career were explored in the 2017 documentary Above Ground Level. He is a fan of Japanese culture and cuisine.
