Drafted in the first round by the St. Louis Rams in 1996, he played wide receiver for several other teams including the Saints, Bears, and Broncos.
He was an All-American track and field sprinter at Louisiana State University. His sprinting skills helped his college draft position after he ran a 4.28 40-yard dash during his Pro Day.
He spent most of his career as a member of the Kansas City Chiefs from 2001 until 2007.
He was born in Lake Charles, Louisiana and spent his entire childhood and early adulthood in the state.
He played alongside former star running back Priest Holmes as a member of the Chiefs.
