Before Fame
He started freestyle rapping in 2008 online and on the radio, debuting with his mixtape, Un petit pas pour Lemsi, in 2012. In 2015 he released his debut studio album, L'or des rois, with Capitol Records, later that year breaking from Capital Records and launching his own independent music label, Triangle d'or, later renamed Big Lemsi Record.

He is known for his high-energy, trap-infused electronic beats and for lyrics that tackle themes of hustling, drugs and prison. His recent release, "HUSTLER 3," dropped in May 2025. He has also used the stage names L'insomniak, La Kalash Humaine, Big Lemsi and Biko Loco.
