Food enthusiast, classical opera singer, and vlogger who has built a massive following on social media for her vlog-style videos documenting her daily life while attending the Oberlin College and Conservatory in Oberlin, OH. With over 900,000 followers to her issaokamoto TikTok account, many of the videos she posts have view counts in the millions.

Before Fame

She grew up in Portland, OR. She began classically training in music while attending high school where she also performed in shows such as Hairspray the Musical. She earned 1st place at the NATS (National Association of Teachers of Singing) Districts Classical Competition and performed solo at Carnegie Hall before going on to attend Oberlin College.

Trivia

She is a self-proclaimed "foodie" and manages a food blog called OISHI, which translates to "delicious" or "yummy" in Japanese. One of her most popular TikToks is a collaboration with the cleaning brand Secret. It has gained more than 3 million views. 

Family Life

She has 2 sisters including TikTok star Nadya Okamoto. She was raised by her mother, but would regularly visit her father and grandparents in New York as well.
