Talent manager, politician, and TV host who presents the entertainment news on CNN International. He is on the board of directors of the Colombia Chambers of Commerce. While working at Sony, he launched Shakira's international career by introducing her to producer Emilio Estefan. After this, he became the director of promotions and public relations of Estefan Enterprises, managing the house's musicians, restaurants and clubs.
He studied advertising at Jorge Tadeo Lozano University in Cartagena. After participating in an exchange program at Pensacola Junior College in Florida, he started working at the nightclub Casablanca in Miami. While there, he met Chayanne, and began to work with her, landing him a job at Sony.
He was one of judges of the music competition show Yo me llamo for its first three seasons, alongside Amparo Grisales.
He was born and raised in Cartagena in 1955.
