Writer, speaker, and one-time head of The Federation of Integrated Medicine. He is best remembered for a 1980 work entitled Killing Cancer.
Early in his life, he was an outdoor adventurer who crossed the Mackenzie River in a canoe and attempted to sail over the entire Atlantic Ocean in a helium balloon.
In his forties, he was diagnosed with squamous cell carcinoma, a terminal disease. After researching herbal medicine and drinking a medicinal tea, he experienced a decades-long remission.
He grew up in Hove, England. He died in Las Vegas, Nevada at the age of seventy-four.
He and Lorraine Day both published books on the topic of alternative medicine.
