About
Korean-Canadian filmmaker who co-wrote and co-directed the critically acclaimed animated musical fantasy film, KPop Demon Hunters. She came up with the story of KPop Demon Hunters in the summer of 2018. She has also worked as a story artist on numerous projects including Kung Fu Panda 3, Madagascar: Escape 2 Africa, Shrek Forever After, Rise of the Guardians, and Puss in Boots.
Before Fame
During her childhood, she watched films by filmmakers such as Akira Kurosawa, Charlie Chaplin, and Martin Scorsese. In grade school, she wrote many short stories, and would draw illustrations that accompanied them. She would eventually go on to study Classical Animation at Sheridan College.
