Margaret Purce

About

Club forward that was originally drafted by the Boston Breakers with the ninth overall pick in the 2017 National Women's Soccer League Draft. She was later acquired by Gotham FC via trade in 2020. Following her 2021 club season, she was named a member of the NWSL Best XI First Team.

Before Fame

She was named Maryland's Gatorade Player of the Year in 2012 while at Our Lady of Good Counsel Catholic High School. She then enrolled in Harvard University as a freshman in 2013. 

Trivia

During her professional career, she has also played for the United States women's national. While playing with Team USA she won the 2022 CONCACAF Women's Championship as well as the 2021 and 2022 SheBelieves Cups.

Family Life

Growing up, she lived with her family in Silver Spring, Maryland.
