Canadian film and television star who first made a name for himself playing Bastian Balthazar Bux in Tales from the Neverending Story. Working his way through supporting roles in television, he eventually starred in popular films like 30 Days of Night and Charlie Bartlett.

Before Fame

He launched his acting career at the age of ten when, without any formal training, won the role of Spider in a touring production of Oliver.


He has had a number of voice acting roles including portraying title character Arthur after the departure of Justin Bradley and providing his talents to the New Zealand animated show Jane and the Dragon.

His parents are Cathy and Henry Rendall. He has two older brothers, David and Matthew. David is also an actor.
