American television producer and executive who began her professional career in documentary television before transitioning into production. She is perhaps best-known for serving as a producer on all five seasons of the acclaimed, multi award-winning AMC drama series Breaking Bad, as well as its equally acclaimed spinoff, Better Call Saul. She has also produced shows like Rectify, Halt and Catch Fire, and Shut Eye.
Before Fame
After graduating cum laude from the Annenberg School at the University of Pennsylvania, she worked on documentary series like National Geographic's Explorer and TLC's A Wedding Story. She subsequently moved into public relations at Fleishman-Hillard before entering the field of film production with several award-winning shorts. After joining Gran Via Productions, under Mark Johnson, she became one of the first hires by Vince Gilligan for Breaking Bad.
Trivia
In 2015, she made her directorial debut with the 5th episode of Better Call Saul's 6th season, titled "Black and Blue." She has been the recipient of numerous PGA Awards (in 2013, 2014, and 2015) and Emmy Award nominations. She also earned the Outstanding Short Form Drama award in 2020 for the Better Call Saul-inspired short, "Legal Ethics with Kim Wexler."
