Miki Imai

About

Japanese pop singer who has produced 30 albums including the 2018 album Sky, the 2009 album Corridor, and the 1988 album Bewith. She has been represented by the Japanese label For Life, the US based label Warner Music Group, and the UK label Virgin Records. In addition to being a singer, she is also an acclaimed actress and starred in the critically acclaimed film Inuji ni Seshi Mono alongside Hiroyuki Sanada.

Before Fame

She released her debut album, Femme, on December 5th, 1986.

Trivia

She won the award for best newcomer at the 8th Yokohama Film Festival for her performance in the 1986 film Inuji ni Seshi Mono.

Family Life

In 1996, she married guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei, and the couple has one daughter.
