Filipino lawyer who is known for being a member of the Philippine's House of Representatives from Taguig City's Lone District. She is also known for being the Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines. She is recognized for having passed the Responsible Parenthood and Reproductive Health Act of 2012.
She attended the University of the Philippines where she earned her BA and her BL. She was first elected as a senator in June of 2004 and went on to become a member of the Philippine House of Representatives from Taguig City's Lone District in June of 2016.
She was known for having at the time been the youngest elected senator in the history of the Republic of the Philippines.
She is the sister of fellow senator Alan Peter Cayetano and the daughter of late senator Renato Cayetano.
She was elected Deputy Speaker of the House of Representatives of the Philippines under president Rodrigo Duterte in August of 2016.
