She has earned tens of thousands of fans creating content about fashion, beauty, and her daily life. She first launched her blog and YouTube channel under the name Pretty Shiny Sparkly.

Before Fame

In June 2012, she graduated with her medical degree from the University of Texas Medical School at Houston. Part of her motivation for starting blogging was to share her experience of losing her younger brother Erik to suicide.

Outside of her lifestyle blog and YouTube channel, she works as an anesthesiologist.

Family Life

She documented her husband Houston's proposal to her on her blog in 2011. They married in 2013 and had a daughter named Harper Lee in November 2017.
