Graffiti artist, painter, and sculptor also known as Risky and known for helping pioneer West Coast graffiti by painting freight trains, freeway signs, and overpasses. He is also known for sharing his work on Instagram with over 210,000 followers.
Before fame
He began creating graffiti in the early 1980s and founded the West Coast Artists crew in 1985. He became the first West Coast graffiti artist to paint New York City subway trains in 1987. He founded the streetwear brand Third Rail in 1992.
Trivia
He created the graffiti featured on the street set of Michael Jackson's 1987 music video for "The Way You Make Me Feel." He painted a set for the movie Bill & Ted's Excellent Adventure in 1989. He was knighted by the Medici family in 2017 and was invited to paint in Michelangelo's former studio.
Family life
His real name is Kelly Graval. He has daughters whom he has described as being his greatest inspiration.
